REAL STRUGGLES. AUTHENTIC FAITH. HOPE IN JESUS.

Mental health challenges can affect individuals, marriages, families, and communities. Mental Health and Jesus exists to help people navigate these struggles through the truth of Scripture, practical mental health education, and compassionate community support.

JESUS CHRIST AT THE CENTER OF OUR MISSION.

Mental Health and Jesus is a Christ-centered nonprofit ministry dedicated to bridging the gap between mental health and the Gospel.

We help individuals navigate mental and emotional challenges through the truth of Jesus Christ and biblical teaching, practical mental health education, compassionate community support, and resources for individuals, families, churches, and ministry leaders.

We also recognize that professional mental health care can be an important part of a person’s support system.

The Story Behind the Mission

We Don’t Just Talk About It. We’ve Lived It.

Mental Health and Jesus was born out of real-life struggles, not just what we have read or heard about. Founder Brandon Hathaway lived with severe anxiety and depression for most of his life, while his wife, Jolana, experienced firsthand how mental health challenges affect the people who love and support someone who is struggling.

On September 9, 2026, Brandon experienced a profound turning point in his journey with the Lord, centered on forgiveness and a renewed sense of freedom. Their experiences helped shape the heart behind Mental Health and Jesus: to remind individuals, families, and churches that no one should have to face these struggles alone.

We don't share this story because we have every answer. We share it because we've lived it—and we want others to know there is hope in Jesus.
